Birds!

We have been studying birds in literacy and science, but nothing is as exciting as seeing a real one on the way to recess!

Hats (or Crowns) on Day

Our school participated in "Hats On Day", a fundraiser for children with cancer. Students donated one dollar for the chance to wear a hat to school, showing sympathy for children who lose their hair due to chemotherapy.

Bird Poems

We are learning about figurative language in poems --here Jaylene shows you how the poem compared a roadrunner to a car , "cause it runs speed".
